Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) has been entrusted with the preparation of a Need Analysis/Preliminary Project Report for establishment of a Mini Tool Room under PPP Mode  at Visakhapatnam (AP) & Ernakulam (Kerala). CITD has already conducted an interactive meeting with the local Industry Associations and submitted a Quick Review Report  justifying for the Mini Tool Room in both the above places based on the  survey/interactive meetings.

CITD  is now undertaking preparation of a Need Analysis / Preliminary Project Report which contain the details of Machinery, Equipment & Training Aids etc., A list of proposed Machinery, Equipment is prepared & communicated to the respective Deptts / Associations for giving suggestions if any, so that the same  can also be considered at this stage. The Proposed list of machinery & equipment is given in the annexure hereto.
